This leadership role combines 40% administrative and 60% clinical time to drive strategic clinical direction and operational efficiency across employed cardiology practices. Responsibilities: Provide clinical direction, oversight, and physician leadership to all AdventHealth employed cardiology practices in West Florida Drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and quality performance across the hospitals Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to standardize care pathways, implement evidence-based practices, and align physician engagement with organizational goals Participate in physician recruitment, onboarding, and staffing optimization to support service line growth Provide oversight for the clinical and operational performance of providers and practices in a dyad partnership in their assigned region Develop and implement the clinical vision for their region while ensuring adherence to AHMG and care management clinical practices and policies Ensure personal actions and the actions of regional providers comply with all applicable policies, regulations, and laws

Requirements: MD or DO Active Florida Medical License Active US Board certification Unrestricted active AdventHealth hospital privileges Strong knowledge and understanding of medical practice and clinic management, clinic operational structures and systems, policies, procedures, and processes Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in managing a health care facility Leadership experience including management of staff, budgets, and multiple clinic functions Core competencies including being a skilled communicator, influential, and able to lead change, manage conflict, and demonstrate business acumen
