About the role
To support the Credit and Fraud Risk organization, the full-time Senior Risk Management Analyst will define risk management policies, collaborate across functions, and leverage quantitative expertise to drive disciplined risk decisions while managing credit risk controls.
Key responsibilities
Define and implement risk management policies for credit risk across American Express portfolios
Collaborate with various teams to develop strategies that identify and mitigate credit risk throughout the customer lifecycle
Analyze large datasets to deliver insights that enhance customer experience and business performance
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant work experience, or a master's degree in a quantitative field
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages for handling large datasets
Experience in credit or fraud risk management with a solid understanding of the credit lifecycle
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across functions
