Commercial Business Development | Charlotte, NCThis role is ideal for a sales professional with a background in solution-based technical sales who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, managing multiple accounts, and working across internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients• Identify and develop target verticals within commercial markets• Manage multiple accounts and support account growth• Develop channel strategies across dealer/distribution networks, manufacturers’ representatives, direct sales, and e-commerce• Manage projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders• Support marketing, digital marketing, and promotional initiatives• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or another technical field• 3+ years of technical sales experience• Experience in packaging, cases, manufacturing, or a related industry preferred• Proven multi-account management and business development experience• Experience with dealer/distributor networks, manufacturers’ representatives, direct sales, or e-commerce• Mechanical aptitude and basic blueprint-reading skills• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point• CRM/ERP experience• Strong communication and presentation skills• Highly organized, self-directed, and results-oriented• Strong decision-making and project management abilities• Comfortable collaborating across teams and managing multiple priorities• Willingness to travel approximately 30%, primarily domestically
