About the role
- Lead global trade compliance across imports, exports, customs, sanctions, and related regulations
- Provide guidance on HTS classification, country of origin, customs valuation, tariffs, and FTAsMonitor and interpret changing global trade regulations, export controls, and sanctions
- Develop and improve compliance policies, procedures, controls, and governance frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide oversight around supplier traceability, forced labor requirements, and supply chain due diligence
- Partner with global business teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions
- Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and interactions with customs authorities
- 7+ years of trade compliance, customs, import/export, or related regulatory experience
- Experience within a global manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HTS classification, country of origin, valuation, tariffs, and FTAsExperience developing or improving trade compliance policies and controls
- Strong cross-functional communication and business-partnering skills
- Supply chain due diligence, forced labor, ESG compliance, or regulatory agency experience is a plus
