Job Description: The Superintendent leads all field construction operations on large-scale data center and mission-critical projects, overseeing the site from start to finish to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery. This is a true traveling role — candidates can live anywhere in the U.S. as long as they can travel to the project. Teams typically spend around two years on a project before having a say in where they go next.
Select Responsibilities: Provide overall supervision of field construction — planning, coordination, sequencing, and scheduling Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain schedule and quality Enforce jobsite safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment per company and OSHA standards Develop and maintain project schedules and drive recovery strategies as needed Perform quality control walks and manage punch lists through each phase of construction Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and officials Maintain daily logs, material tracking, and project documentation Collaborate closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and engineers
Ideal Candidate: Proven Superintendent experience on data center, mission-critical, or similarly complex commercial projects Strong knowledge of means and methods, scheduling, and trade coordination Genuine willingness to travel nationally for extended project assignments Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Authorization to work in the U.S.Compensation & Total Package Total annualized package commonly reaches $200K–$300K+ when you combine base, bonus, per diem, and allowances Competitive base salary (~$110K–$130K for Superintendents, up to ~$160K–$165K for Senior Superintendents)Performance- and profitability-based bonus program (typically $20K–$30K for Superintendents, $50K+ for Senior Superintendents, with upside beyond)Weekly per diem (~$1,246/week; ~$58K+/year on current projects) — largely tax-advantaged while traveling Vehicle and fuel allowance (~$12,600/year)Best-in-class medical (PPO + employer-funded HSA), dental, and vision Employer-matched 401(k) (pre-tax + Roth), company-paid life/AD&D, plus voluntary disability, accident, critical illness, and pet insurance Generous PTO (~18 days to start, ~23 at 5+ years), paid holidays, parental/family leave, sabbatical eligibility for field teams, tuition and wellness reimbursement
