About the role
We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join a growing manufacturing operation in Clarksville, TN. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturer offering strong leadership, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Manage engineering and process improvement projects from planning through completion Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Develop project action plans and determine requirements for labor, materials, resources, and timelines Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, efficiency, quality, and reliability Analyze equipment, process, and component failures to identify root causes and corrective actions Support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives Maintain project documentation and provide progress reports to leadership and management Work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, quality, and other manufacturing teams
Qualifications:
Engineering degree or equivalent relevant manufacturing/engineering experience Experience working in a manufacturing environment Experience with automotive manufacturing or metals is a plus Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement Six Sigma experience is a plusFMEA experience is a plus Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and leadership This is an excellent opportunity for a Process Engineer looking to join a growing manufacturing team and take ownership of projects that directly impact production, quality, and operational performance.
