About the role
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established food & beverage organization in Federal Way, WA, seeking a Director of Merchandising & Category Management. This leadership role will oversee category strategy, digital merchandising, pricing, promotions, and vendor partnerships while helping drive customer engagement, recurring purchases, and long-term growth within a rapidly evolving home delivery business. What You'll Own Full category P&L responsibility, including revenue, margin, assortment, and promotional performance Category planning and assortment strategy across multiple product categories Pricing, promotion, and vendor negotiations Drive product growth initiatives Own ecommerce merchandising strategy, digital shelf optimization, and customer purchase behavior across a recurring-order home delivery platform Data-driven decision making through analytics and financial modeling Leadership and development of a growing team What We're Looking For 8+ years of experience in grocery merchandising, category management, or related CPG environments 4+ years leading cross-functional teams Proven ability to leverage analytics to drive category performance and business results Experience in ecommerce, home delivery, subscription-based commerce, or direct-to-consumer grocery environments Strong background in pricing strategy and vendor management Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in execution
Benefits Include:
