About the role
2nd Shift Box Room Machine Operator Position: Box Room Machine Operator
Hours: 4:30pm - until the end of production (Mon-Thurs, schedule may vary)
Compensation: $23.18
Reports To: Production Supervisor Employment: Full time
Job Duties:
Set up and operate boxroom machines, including label makers, tape applicators, date coders, wrap machines, and box erectors. Perform setup to machine specifications by following batch sheet and load formulation information for each product code. Accurately complete paperwork and enter it into computer systems. Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to very cold; noise; humidity; moving vehicles; slippery floors; possible heavy and repeated lifting. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
Qualifications:
Must complete required safety training for Lock Out/Tag Out, Powered Industrial Trucks, Hazard Communication, etc. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to perform basic data entry into a computer system on a Windows environment. SAP experience a plus. Experience and knowledge with HACCP programs a plus.
Physical Demands:
Lifting up to 40 lb boxes.
