Rochester Center is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our team in Rochester, NY. This is not a typical office position. The role is fast-paced and requires exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working closely with residents, families, and internal departments. The ideal candidate has prior office/finance experience.
REQUIREMENTS: Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance processes preferredConfidence and professionalism when discussing financial matters with residents and familiesAbility to learn and navigate multiple computer programs and databases efficientlyExceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracyStrong organizational, time-management, and follow-through skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities DUTIES:Meet with residents and families to discuss financial responsibilities and payment obligationsAssist Medicaid applicants with gathering and submitting required documentationMaintain accurate resident census information within billing and clinical software systemsCollect private-pay balances and resident income owed to the facilityAssist with insurance verification and authorization processesManage and distribute resident trust fundsEnsure all admission and financial agreements are completed and properly executedCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure accurate financial and resident recordsPerform additional duties as assigned About us: Rochester Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 124-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility that is a top choice for post-acute care in Monroe County, New York.
