About the role

This in-person professional OR amateur photographer volunteer will take high-quality, high-resolution photographs and videos of: our sanctuary cats going on about their day, our on-site volunteers doing various sanctuary work, our local fundraising events, etc. You will need to supply your own videography/photography equipment. Position would also be responsible for periodically managing our website & social media sites with engaging content and posts. Our volunteers are highly valued members and make a difference in the lives of our rescues. As a true sanctuary, we will not breed, sell, exhibit or exploit animals. We are committed to educating the public about the homeless animal crisis and to treat each rescue with respect, love, and kindness. As an individual 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we rely solely on generous people who believe in our mission.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
