About the role

Senior Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) Plan and execute security program for SAP/SCI contracts at Impulse SpaceLocation: Redondo Beach, California
Compensation: $185,000 - 215,000 USD / year
About The Role: CPSO at Impulse SpaceAs a CPSO at Impulse Space, you will own day-to-day security for assigned Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and collateral contracts whose requirements exceed standard NISPOM compliance. You are the primary interface with government Program Security Officers and the internal partner to Program Management, Engineering, the Facility Security Officer, ISSO/ISSM, and COMSEC. This is a senior individual-contributor role. You will stand up and run program security for a growing portfolio, write the procedures, prepare the facility and the people for inspections, and give leadership a clear read on security risk to schedule and milestones.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
