Job Summary:
Home Matters of North Denver, a leading provider of in‑home care services, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide hands‑on support to clients in their homes, helping them with daily activities, safety, and comfort. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support safe mobility and transfers
- Give medication reminders (no medication handling)
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, and basic safety checks
- Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement
- Escort clients to appointments or outings as listed in the care plan
- Report any changes in condition to your supervisor or RNProtect client privacy (HIPAA)
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Complete orientation, annual training, and Nurse Guided Care education
Qualifications:
- 21+ years old
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience
- Strong English communication skills
- Able to pass all background and reference checks
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and driver's license
- Willing to attend required in‑person trainings/meetings at our Brighton, CO office
- Able to travel 15-50 miles each way to client homes in Denver, Aurora, Northglenn, Brighton, Commerce City, or Thornton
