About the role
Quality Control Inspector Inspection of inbound material and sub weldments from vendors. Process material through companies MRB program. Actively observe and promote BWise safety standards. Visually inspect quality of different material received in. ex. Full length structural steel and tubing, sheet steel and sub weldments, trailer components. Correct dimensions Built to print Free of rust, gouges and other defects. Process material through the company's MRB processes. Retrieve material from each department designated MRB area and take to MRB. Separate and tag/record scrap and return to vendor. Work with receiving and quality teams. Operate forklift. Must have forklift and basic measuring tool experience, tape measure and gauges. Must be able to read prints. Other duties assigned by department manager. Lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and squatting frequently. Standing for 8-10 hours daily.
