About the role

Medix is hiring for a temporary Registered Nurse that will provide nursing care and clinical support to patients in an outpatient OB/GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice. Apply today!
Responsibilities:
  • Performs patient assessments, telephone triage, and patient education throughout pregnancy and gynecologic care
  • Assists with and performs Non-Stress Tests (NSTs), monitors fetal heart rate and uterine activity, and communicates findings to providers
  • Supports patients undergoing gynecologic procedures and surgery, including pre- and post-procedure care
  • Coordinates appointments, testing, referrals, and follow-up care while documenting patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborates closely with OB/GYN and MFM physicians and other members of the care team to ensure safe, timely, and compassionate patient care

  • Target start: Early October 4-6 month coverage
