About the role

Experienced Fabricator We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team. We're looking for a skilled, dependable fabricator who can confidently read fabrication drawings, fit and form structural steel and plate, and safely operate fabrication equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols
  • Lay out and fit structural steel and plate
  • Set up and operate a press brake
  • Set up and operate a plate roll
  • Roll cylinders and cones, including performing pre-bending operations
  • Fit tanks, skids, piping supports, bases, and other fabricated components
  • Perform MIG/FCAW tack welding and, preferably, finish welding
  • Safely operate overhead cranes and properly rig plate and materials
  • Maintain reasonable fabrication tolerances and quality standards
  • Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in structural steel and plate fabrication
  • Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and weld symbols
  • Experience with press brakes and plate rolls
  • Strong fitting and layout skills
  • Ability to safely rig and move heavy plate and steel using overhead cranesMIG/FCAW welding experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
