Job Description:
The Auto Technician Mechanic plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing passenger cars and light trucks/SUVs within a small team of 2-5 technicians. This position requires expertise in vehicle diagnostics and repair using standard industry tools, with minimal customer interaction involved. The technician ensures vehicle safety and reliability through thorough inspections and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate vehicle diagnostics to identify issues
Conduct engine repairs to restore optimal performance
Maintain and repair brake systems for safety compliance
Repair electrical systems and address related faults
Carry out preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns
Complete safety inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in automotive repair
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficient in engine repair and use of diagnostic tools
Knowledgeable in electrical and brake systems
Strong problem-solving skills
