About the role
As a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer supporting Crusoe's modular data center platform, you will own the control system deliverables for major systems inside the modules we manufacture.
Requirements:
Instrumentation & Controls Depth: 5 to 8 years of professional experience in industrial instrumentation and controls, with demonstrated independent ownership of design deliverables across the design and commissioning lifecycle. PLC Proficiency: Strong working command of Rockwell and Allen-Bradley platforms, including Studio 5000 and Control Logix or Compact Logix hardware, and the ability to read, modify, and troubleshoot existing logic. SCADA Capability: Hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA or a comparable platform, including tag architecture, screen development, historian configuration, and troubleshooting integration issues. Testing and Commissioning Rigor: Proven ability to author and execute test procedures, drive discrepancies to closure, and make release decisions on the accuracy of your own verification. Field and Factory Judgment: Comfort operating in active manufacturing and construction environments, with the credibility to work through installation and calibration issues directly with technicians, trades, and vendors. Documentation Discipline: A track record of producing accurate, well-documented deliverables that downstream construction and operations teams can rely on without rework.
Mandatory Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
