The RCM Strategy & Operations Manager will monitor financial performance, resolve billing issues, proactively communicate revenue cycle health, and collaborate across internal teams to ensure practices have confidence in their financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an operationally-minded healthcare professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and is passionate about helping independent practices succeed. What You’ll Do Monitor key revenue cycle performance metrics including denial rates, accounts receivable aging, claim submission timelines, and collections trends, proactively identifying and addressing issues before they impact performance. Maintain accurate tracking of practice-level revenue cycle health, outstanding issues, and action items across a portfolio of practices. Investigate and resolve billing issues throughout the entire claims lifecycle, including claim submission, payment posting, denial management, appeals, and accounts receivable resolution. Serve as the primary point of contact for practices, providing proactive updates through email and video meetings while translating complex billing data into clear, actionable insights. Guide practice staff on payer requirements, documentation standards, coding accuracy, and billing best practices to prevent recurring issues. Coordinate with external billing partners and internal RCM teams to ensure timely resolution of outstanding items, appropriate escalations, and consistent follow-up. Identify recurring operational challenges and partner with RCM leadership to improve workflows, templates, documentation, and scalable operational processes. Build trusted relationships with practices by providing consistent communication, accountability, and operational excellence. What You’ll Bring 4–6 years of experience in revenue cycle management consulting, billing operations, or a client-facing healthcare revenue cycle role, preferably supporting multiple practices or clients. Deep understanding of the complete healthcare revenue cycle, including charge capture, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, appeals, and accounts receivable resolution. Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly diagnose revenue cycle performance issues using operational reports and billing data. Experience advising healthcare practices or clients on payer requirements, coding accuracy, documentation standards, and revenue cycle best practices. Ability to navigate multiple electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management systems with confidence and adaptability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex billing concepts for non-technical audiences. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and practice relationships simultaneously. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. A passion for supporting healthcare providers through operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Compensation Salary Range: $110,000–$140,000 base salary, plus equity. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
