About the role
Job Description:
Jerk Fry City Cashier Jerk Fry City is looking for friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashiers to join our team. Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing orders and payments, and helping create a welcoming experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a positive and welcoming attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Operate the POS/cash register system and process cash, credit/debit, and other payments. Answer customer questions about menu items, pricing, and specials. Ensure orders are entered correctly and communicated to the kitchen. Prepare and package customer orders when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked cashier/front-counter area. Assist with dine-in, takeout, delivery, and online orders. Work with kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed accurately and promptly. Handle customer concerns professionally and notify management when assistance is needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures. Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout each shift.
Qualifications:
Previous cashier or restaurant experience is preferred but not required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
