About the role

Bakery Apprentice Staff of Life Natural Foods began as a whole grain bakery in 1969. Over the years we have developed many locally renowned breads and pastries. We have since grown to a full service natural foods market. We are looking for motivated individuals aspiring to learn the science and craft of baking. Must be organized, responsible and dedicated. Creativity a plus.
Duties: Train to produce a wide range of baked goods. Maintain inventory. Package and distribute products as per pars and orders. Maintain proper sanitation. Observe all health and safety rules. Follow and comply with established procedures.
Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Ability to operate all necessary equipment.
Essential Job Functions: Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat. Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Repetitive use of hands.
