Inventory Logistics Manager

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Logistics Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating deliveries, tracking shipments, and supporting the logistics operations that keep our propane services running smoothly. You will work closely with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and materials. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations Track propane tanks, equipment, and supplies to ensure adequate stock Coordinate with drivers and delivery teams to schedule and optimize routes Process orders and update inventory records in the company system Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery dates, and resolve discrepancies Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, delivery performance, and logistics metrics Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and reduce costs Support customer service by providing delivery status updates and resolving logistics issues Assist with procurement activities and vendor coordination Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements related to propane handling and transport Perform other duties as assigned

Required: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)2 or more years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet home office setup

Preferred: Experience in the propane, fuel, or energy industry Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety compliance Experience with route optimization or dispatch software Knowledge of the Mid-Missouri region and surrounding areas Skills and Attributes Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Proactive and solutions-driven mindset Collaborative team player Ability to adapt to changing priorities Commitment to safety and compliance

Salary Range: $52,000 to $98,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
