Location: Northern Illinois (Hybrid)
We're conducting a confidential search for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to join a growing multi-site organization. This role is responsible for leading enterprise infrastructure operations while building a high-performing, accountable IT team. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with the ability to partner with business leaders, improve operational execution, and deliver measurable business value through technology.
Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day IT infrastructure operations. Manage enterprise networking, servers, Microsoft technologies, virtualization, cloud services, cybersecurity, and end-user computing. Build accountability, ownership, and execution within the infrastructure team. Partner with business leaders to prioritize technology initiatives. Lead infrastructure improvements and modernization projects. Manage external technology vendors and service providers. Develop infrastructure roadmaps that improve reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience. Experience leading technical teams in an enterprise environment. Strong background supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, Windows Server, virtualization, networking, and cloud technologies. Experience managing vendors, infrastructure projects, and operational priorities. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
