Build knowledge in the areas of grain origination and merchandising. Ride along with originators to develop an understanding of origination. Gain \"in the field\" experience while learning the culture of CPI. Ensures compliance with CPI policies, regulations, procedures, and practices including all local, state, and federal laws.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* Provide a positive attitude, image, and safe culture to customers and peers through exceptional and courteous customer service.* Follow the safety guidelines and safety programs established by CPI.* Is punctual, engaged, and willing to learn.* Promote and support CPI's grain, energy, feed and agronomy programs. Work with various departments to gain an overall knowledge of company operations and processes. Gain a better understanding of the coop.* Gain knowledge in the following:+ Buying and selling of commodities.+ Daily analysis of local, national, and global markets.+ Transportation and logistics (Rail and Fleet).+ Relationship building with customers.* Completes a variety of assignments related to day-to-day operations and processes. Perform projects as assigned under the direction of qualified staff.* Ability to multi-task and capability to excel in both team and self-directed settings.Skills and Specifications* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.* Working knowledge of business computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet software, and CPI internal software).* Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.* Ability to read, write, and speak English.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Education and QualificationsCandidate must be pursuing a degree in business management, ag business, or a related field and have completed their sophomore or junior year of academic courses from a university/college OR completed their freshman year of academic courses from a community or trade college. Candidate must be in good academic standing.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Required:
