About the role
Director, Marketing The Director, Marketing provides leadership for the TBS Companies marketing function; aligning brand, demand generation, communications, digital experience, and go-to-market strategy across all divisions. This role partners with business unit leaders to translate company growth objectives into integrated marketing strategies that strengthen market position, generate profitable demand, and support long-term growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Develop and lead an enterprise-wide marketing strategy that supports company growth objectives, market expansion, product line priorities, and business unit needs. Translate corporate strategy into marketing plans, campaign priorities, channel strategies, performance targets, and budget as a strategic marketing advisor to business unit leaders on brand positioning, market opportunities, customer segmentation, competitive differentiation, and growth multi-brand strategy and ensure consistent positioning, messaging, voice, and visual standards across corporate, division, product and customer integrated demand generation, digital marketing, content, trade show, social media, email, video, website, SEO, and sales enablement strategies that support lead quality, customer engagement, and revenue growth. Partner with business unit leaders to improve lead visibility, campaign effectiveness, customer experience, and go-to-market execution across markets and product lines. Conduct and apply market, customer, competitor, channel, and industry research to identify growth opportunities, risks, trends, and strategic priorities. Own marketing operations, including the annual marketing plan, budget, vendor relationships, campaign performance reporting, marketing technology, and scalable processes for content, events, and cross-functional requests. Establish marketing KPIs, dashboards, and review practices to measure effectiveness, optimize investments, and communicate results to leadership. Lead, coach, and develop marketing team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Travel up to 25%QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:B.A. / B.S. degree in Marketing, or a related field required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.10+ years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrated ability to develop strategy and lead transformative marketing Experience in B2B marketing for manufacturing, construction, or multi-division organizations is required Trade show experience required. OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Must demonstrate broad marketing leadership capability with the ability to develop, communicate, and execute marketing strategies that support profitable growth. Must be able to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, lead multiple priorities across business units, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business acumen, written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, analytical thinking, budget management, project management, and vendor management are required. Must be collaborative, adaptable, data-informed, growth-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a manufacturing, construction, and customer-focused environment.
