This is not a company experimenting with AI. They already have production-grade AI agents live in revenue-generating credit and underwriting workflows and are now expanding that capability across Sales, Customer Lifecycle, Finance, and Capital Markets.They are looking for an AI Product Director to act as the senior product leader driving this transformation, partnering closely with executive leadership to redesign critical business processes from the ground up using AI.The OpportunityThis is a rare chance to join a business where AI already delivers measurable results and where product leadership has genuine executive sponsorship.As the AI Product Director, you'll be the quarterback of multiple AI initiatives, owning product design, roadmap development, delivery oversight, and stakeholder alignment across the organisation. You'll lead a team of AI Product Managers, oversee several concurrent programmes, and ensure external engineering partners deliver against rigorous product specifications.Rather than simply automating existing workflows, you'll challenge assumptions and reimagine how key business processes should operate in an AI-first environment.What You'll Be DoingPartner with executive leadership to define and shape the AI product visionLead deep discovery with business experts to understand current workflows, edge cases, and operational realitiesRedesign processes from first principles using AI-native thinkingCreate detailed product blueprints and specifications for engineering teams and external partnersOversee multiple AI transformation programmes simultaneouslyManage and develop a team of AI Product ManagersEstablish evaluation frameworks, quality controls, testing methodologies, and production-readiness standardsDrive stakeholder adoption and change management across multiple business functionsMeasure and demonstrate business impact through productivity, efficiency, and commercial outcomesWhat They're Looking For8-12+ years of product management experienceProven track record delivering AI products from concept through production deploymentExperience designing AI solutions, not simply managing deliveryStrong AI fluency, including agentic workflows, evaluation frameworks, benchmarking, and modern LLM architecturesExperience translating complex business processes into product specifications and technical requirementsAbility to manage external engineering vendors and hold delivery partners accountableExceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skillsExperience operating in fast-paced fintech, payments, lending, or high-growth technology environmentsIdeal BackgroundYou'll likely come from a scaling fintech, payments, lending, or technology business where you've successfully led AI-driven business transformation initiatives.
