About Timber Technologies Timber Technologies is an engineered wood manufacturing company based in Colfax, Wisconsin. The company was founded from the ground up in 2003 and has grown into an established manufacturing business serving customers in the building products and engineered wood markets. The company has built a strong operating foundation and is now looking for a Division President to lead the business through its next stage of growth. This is a highly visible executive leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the operation, working with customers, developing leaders, and building a long-term growth strategy.
The Opportunity: The Division President will have overall responsibility for the operations, financial performance, strategy, people, and growth of the business. You will lead through a team of functional leaders across: Manufacturing Procurement Sales Maintenance Quality Shipping Human Resources Finance Special Projects This is not a purely corporate executive role. The President will be expected to be hands-on, visible, and engaged with the operation and leadership team.
What You’ll Be Doing: Lead the overall business strategy and day-to-day operations. Oversee procurement of approximately 12–15 million board feet of softwood lumber annually. Partner closely with the Plant Manager on production, efficiency, quality, scheduling, maintenance, and shipping. Work with Sales leadership to retain existing customers and develop new business. Help align manufacturing capacity and customer demand. Oversee financial performance in partnership with the Controller. Provide leadership around internal controls, compliance, audits, and SOC requirements. Lead and develop the management team across the organization. Build and execute 3-year and 5-year growth strategies. Identify opportunities for additional capacity, technology, equipment, and capital investment. Drive productivity, operational efficiency, profitability, and organizational development. Build a strong culture around safety, accountability, employee engagement, and performance. What They’re Looking For The ideal candidate is an experienced manufacturing executive who has led a complex operation through multiple functional leaders. Someone who can build on what is already working while identifying where the business can grow next. Experience in any of the following would be valuable: Engineered wood Building products Forest products Lumber Industrial manufacturing Related manufacturing environments They are looking for someone with a combination of: Strong operational leadership Manufacturing expertise Financial acumen Strategic planning experience Capital investment experience Customer and commercial orientation People and organizational leadership Experience developing management teams Strong accountability and execution
Compensation
Location: Colfax, Wisconsin Relocation: Relocation support of up to $10,000
Base Salary: $200,000–$225,000
Bonus: Significant EBITDA-based bonus opportunity
