About the role
Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Automotive Area Manager is to manage detail operations and customer relations.Compensation: Salary plus commission and bonus. BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePTOCompetitive PayResponsibilitiesManage activities of the Detail Shop to ensure vehicles are detailed to and all work is performed in a timely manner and according to established quality standards and customer requirements.Responsible for operation of administrative functions on a daily basis to enable maximum utilization of services.Maintain a high level of customer service.Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customer.Manage, motivate and train Detail Shop team.Manage employee scheduling and workflow.Purchase equipment, materials and supplies and oversee maintenance and protection of shop equipment.Control the use of supplies, materials and equipment.Provide and maintain safe work environment by training, monitoring and enforcing all safety procedures.Counsel and discipline employees as necessary.Effectively lead the team at the location by setting an example in behavior, championing OnSite Dealer Solutions values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.Assist with the enforcement of all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.Keeps work area neat and clean.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsA high school diploma or GED is preferredValid driver's license1 year of automotive detail experience required1 year of management experience requiredProfessional interpersonal and communication skills necessary for interacting with employees, vendors and customersAbout Us: OnSite Dealer Solutions is a complete automotive dealership services provider of quality solutions for Sales, Finance, Service and Body Shop departments.
