About the role

Seeking a procurement professional with 3+ years of experience managing Rubber & Plastics commodities. The ideal candidate has strong supplier management and negotiation skills, experience driving cost savings, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams. Experience with supplier development, market analysis, and strategic sourcing in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Lead sourcing and procurement activities for Rubber & Plastics commodities. Develop supplier strategies and manage supplier relationships. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support annual cost-reduction initiatives. Evaluate and onboard new suppliers while ensuring supply continuity. Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements in quality, delivery, and cost. Analyze market trends, material costs, and industry conditions to support sourcing decisions. Manage supply chain risks, including tariff impacts and alternative sourcing strategies. Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams on key initiatives. Support new product launches through effective supplier selection and sourcing execution. Maintain sourcing documentation, reporting, and category analysis. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and best practices.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.3-5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain. Experience sourcing Rubber & Plastics commodities preferred. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Analytical skills including cost analysis, financial evaluation, and market research. Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management abilities. Professional certifications such as CPSM, ISM, APICS, or similar are a plus.
