About the role
Utility Worker / Material Handler We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Utility Worker / Material Handler to support material handling and general operations at the Blount Island Port Facility in Jacksonville, Florida. This position involves moving, organizing, loading, unloading, staging, and handling materials throughout the facility while assisting with other general utility duties as needed. Candidates must be comfortable working in an active port environment and must meet all security and credential requirements for access to the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Load, unload, move, stage, and organize materials and supplies.
Assist with receiving, shipping, and material-handling operations.
Move materials to designated storage, staging, or work areas.
Verify materials and quantities as directed.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).Valid JAXPORT Business Purpose Credential/JAXPORT Badge.
- Valid driver's license to enter the port
- Security Requirements
- This position requires regular access to secured areas of the Blount Island Port Facility. Employees must maintain the credentials required for authorized port access, including a valid TWIC and JAXPORT Badge, and must comply with all applicable port security procedures.
