About the role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in 3, 4 & 5-Axis NC programming for machining
  • Must be able to program utilizing models and working with multiple axis and limited dimension drawings
  • Create detailed work instructions, mfg. sketches, and other shop floor documentation
Solid troubleshooting ability related to work holding, tool selection, speeds, feeds, etc. Understanding of model-based definition and GD&T as well as customer specifications Provide shop-floor support as necessary to resolve technical and manufacturing issues. Utilize root cause analysis, preventative and corrective action to reduce/eliminate non-conformances
Required Skills:
  • Candidates must have at least one (1) year of machine tool technology and/or credentials verifying formal training in machining technology.
  • Candidates must have at least five (5) years of experience in programming and set up of CNC machines
  • Must have at least 8 years of experience working in a machining environment
Education and Experience:
  • Proficient with Mastercam
  • Strong with GD&TExperience with AS9100 is a plus
  • Detail orientated
