Job Description:
Gerkin Windows and Doors, a manufacturer of high-performance vinyl and aluminum windows and storm doors, is seeking qualified applicants for a Receptionist position at our facility in South Sioux City, Nebraska. This position is part of an office support team and serves as a key point of contact for customers, vendors, employees, and other visitors. The successful candidate will provide professional front-desk coverage while assisting with shipping related paperwork and general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line telephone system Greet and assist visitors, walk-in applicants, customers, and vendors Respond professionally to inquiries received by phone, email, and in person Prepare, organize, file, and distribute shipping documents and related paperwork Support office and administrative functions across the organization Maintain an organized, professional reception and front-office area Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately The ideal candidate will: Have excellent customer service and communication skills Be professional, dependable, organized, and detail orientated Be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Be capable of managing multiple priorities and interruptions while maintaining accuracy Have experience operating a multi-line phone system Demonstrate strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email Be able to work effectively as part of a team Gerkin Windows & Doors offers a competitive compensation package, along with affordable benefits designed to meet the needs of our employees.
