About the role

Provide coordination and technical support to RSS subrecipient agencies regarding program requirements, policy implementation, operational procedures, and problem resolution. Monitor subrecipient program implementation and performance, including deliverables, milestones, performance measures, and corrective actions, to promote accountability and effective use of RSS resources. Monitor programmatic compliance with applicable Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) requirements, approved program plans, and state policies, and assist with federal and state program monitoring, reviews, and reporting. Collect, maintain, and analyze program data related to participation, services, outcomes, and performance. Use data to identify trends, service gaps, and opportunities for program improvement and prepare programmatic reports and briefing materials as needed. Serve as a liaison between RSS subrecipients, state agencies, community stakeholders, employers, workforce development organizations, educational institutions, and the Governor’s Office for New Americans to promote clear communication, coordination, and timely resolution of issues. Develop and maintain partnerships with employers and workforce development organizations to identify employment, training, credentialing, and educational opportunities that promote economic self-sufficiency and successful integration into the United States. Engage community organizations and other public and private partners to identify opportunities to strengthen the statewide network supporting refugee self-sufficiency. Support implementation of the RSS and RSS Set-Aside programs in accordance with federal requirements, approved state plans, grant objectives, and the priorities of the Governor’s Office for New Americans. Perform other duties related to RSS and RSS Set-Aside program administration and statewide refugee self-sufficiency initiatives as assigned. This position might require travel within the state of Nevada.
