About the role
Senior FMS Executive SecretaryWe are seeking a Senior FMS Executive Secretary to join our team who will be responsible for providing executive-level administrative and clerical support. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities and qualifications will include but are not limited to:Essential duties and responsibilities:Provide executive-level administrative tasking by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, managing taskers, and handling information requests.Prepare correspondence, reports, memorandums, and emails for distribution across the organization.Assist with travel vouchers.Arrange conference calls and schedule meetings.Compose calendars, schedules, and itineraries.Supervisory responsibilities:This position does not have any supervisor responsibilities.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Knowledge and skills:Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Teams.Proficiency in video conferencing technology, including Video Tele Conferences, Webex, and Zoom.Familiarity with the Defense Travel System (DTS).Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Familiarity with military customs and courtesies.Understanding of Department of Defense processes.Education and/or experience:BA/BS degree10 years of experience performing executive administrative support within a FMS environment.Minimum security clearance:Current active Secret ClearancePhysical demands:The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Work environment:Normal office environment.
