Commercial Laundry Maintenance Technician Since its founding in 1992, Edgewood Properties has established itself as a leading real estate development and property management company. With corporate headquarters in New Jersey, the company is on a course of growth leading to activities across the nation. Given ongoing construction and development plans, our current apartment portfolio of 6,000 plus units is expected to double in the next couple of years and rise to over 12,000 units in the next five years. Given our rapid portfolio growth, coupled with ownership's desire to develop and hold rather than sell, the timing is ideal for qualified candidates to come on-board. We are currently seeking Full Time Commercial Laundry Maintenance Technician to work out of our Piscataway, NJ location. Will do light travel between sites in central New Jersey.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but not limited to:

What You'll Do: Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial washers and dryers (gas & electric)Diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults control boards, motors, bearings, valves, and more Service card-operated payment systems (Laundroworks & ESD) and bill changers at our vended locations Coordinate with wash & fold attendants on machine availability and repair timelines Inspect plumbing, water pressure, and drainage; coordinate with contractors when needed Track parts inventory and log all maintenance activity

Qualifications: What We're Looking For 2+ years repairing commercial laundry equipment (any major brand)Comfortable with 120V240V single and three-phase electrical systems Experience with gas dryer burner assemblies and gas valve systems Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals Valid driver's license you'll travel between sites Able to lift 75 lbs and work in hot, humid environments Bonus points for: Experience with Laundroworks or ESD card payment systemsEPA 608 certification or HVAC/R background Bilingual English/Spanish In return, we offer competitive compensation, along with comprehensive benefits for full time employees, including medical and dental and vision benefits, life insurance, a 401(k) with company match and a corporate team environment with opportunity of advancement.
