Are you a licensed massage therapist looking for a way to give back? St. David's Hospice & Family Care is seeking volunteer massage therapists to provide gentle, therapeutic touch to hospice patients in the Austin area. How Massage Therapy Helps Hospice PatientsRelieves muscle tension and pain Reduces stress and anxiety Promotes relaxation and better sleep Enhances overall well-being Your Role as a VolunteerOffer light-touch or gentle massage techniques Create a soothing, healing experience Provide comfort and care to those in need We ask volunteers to commit 1-2 hours per week, with shifts assigned based on patient preference.
