About the role
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst – EV Fleet Operations supports the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of Republic’s electric refuse truck fleet and associated charging infrastructure. This role works closely with EV operating sites to understand day-to-day operational challenges, track performance, and support consistent execution of EV operational best practices across vehicles and chargers. The Senior Analyst collects, analyzes, and interprets fleet and charging data, supports the development and maintenance of EV telematics and operational dashboards, and helps translate site feedback into actionable insights for the EV operations team. The role also supports monitoring and coordination of EV charger issues in partnership with site teams and a third-party operations and maintenance (O&M) provider. This position works closely with the Manager – EV Fleet Operations and collaborates cross-functionally with OEMs, EV infrastructure partners, maintenance teams, telematics, and data analytics groups. The ideal candidate is analytically strong, operationally minded, and comfortable working between field teams and technical stakeholders.
Principal Responsibilities Supports all aspects of program and product development
Supports Implementation & Deployment of cutting edge technology
Supports deployment issues and develop mitigation plans
Supports the pre-planning, deployment, and ongoing adoption of technologies and processes to Republic’s field organization
Monitors and develops reporting for program performance and deployment execution
Conducts ad hoc analyses and reporting as needed
Actively generates recommendations on improvements/efficiencies for process or programmatic changes
Routinely reviews product enhancements and field related training materials to ensure all training aids, and learning solutions remain relevant
Works with manager, team, and technology vendors to support development of products to meet business needs, outlining requirements and supporting roadmap development
Helps support project planning and change management for key initiatives and programs
Works closely with team and key business partners to development project communications & training plans and materials
Manages vendor relations and engages in industry networking to uncover new technologies and foster relationships
Supports execution of new technology pilots and business cases around proven technology aimed at driving operational business benefits
Helps maintain logistical alignment across various vendors
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Excel, PPT, Word
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team
Prior experience in the waste industry or related field(s).
Minimum Qualifications 5 years of experience in one or more roles focusing on process improvement and financial analysis in the waste industry or related field(s)
2 years of experience performing systems analysis and translating business needs into definable systems solutions
