Help Operates tractors equipped with specialized attachments to perform aeration, topdressing, overseeding, and deep-tining across greens, tees, fairways, and roughs without damaging the manicured surface. Conducts daily safety and mechanical checks (including fluids, tire pressure, belts, and grease points) and reports mechanical issues immediately to the equipment manager to prevent costly field breakdowns. Safely operates heavy machinery on uneven terrain, steep slopes, and near water hazards, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA guidelines and course-specific safety protocols to prevent rollovers. Properly hooks up, calibrates, and adjusts various implements (such as spreaders, sprayers, and utility trailers) to ensure accurate application rates of seed, sand, or fertilizer. Assists the maintenance team by hauling soil, gravel, debris, and green waste across the property, utilizing utility trailers while minimizing soil compaction along designated haul routes.
