- Administer Salesforce as the organization’s core business system, including users, permissions, fields, page layouts, reports, dashboards, validation rules, and Flow automation.· Administer connected fundraising, marketing, and data-management platforms, including HubSpot, DonorDrive, FormAssembly, Apsona, and Omatic.· Provide day-to-day user support, troubleshoot system and data issues, resolve routine problems, and coordinate with vendors, consultants, or other third-party service providers when additional scope or specialized expertise is needed.· Maintain accurate and consistent constituent data through imports, cleanup, deduplication, data standards, and routine quality checks.· Monitor integrations and data flows among Salesforce and connected applications, investigating failed transactions, mapping problems, duplicate records, and other exceptions.· Gather and clarify business requirements from fundraising, marketing, finance, operations, and other staff.· Maintain a backlog of system requests and enhancements and provide practical recommendations to support prioritization through the organization’s governance process.· Implement approved enhancements using maintainable configurations, appropriate testing, stakeholder review, documentation, and controlled release practices.· Support users with reports and dashboards that help staff and leadership answer common questions and make informed decisions.· Manage application access appropriately, including user setup, changes, deactivation, and periodic review of permissions.· Train and support users, communicate system changes, and create concise instructions and job aids for common processes.· Document important configurations, integrations, processes, and decisions to strengthen continuity and make systems administration easier to sustain over time.
- Plan for platform releases and upgrades and assess how upcoming changes may affect users, data, integrations, and business processes. Education, Experience & Job Requirements:
- Three or more years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including the ability to configure and support a production Salesforce environment independently.· Demonstrated proficiency in: User and permission management. Fields, page layouts, and related configuration. Reports and dashboards. Flow automation and validation rules. Data imports, exports, and cleanup. Troubleshooting user, configuration, and data issues.· Experience supporting integrations between Salesforce and other business applications, with an understanding of how data maps and synchronizes between systems.· Experience maintaining data quality through imports, standardization, deduplication, cleanup, and routine governance.· Experience gathering requirements from non-technical colleagues and translating them into practical, well-documented solutions.· Experience testing and implementing system changes with minimal disruption to users.· Ability to manage day-to-day support, recurring administrative work, and enhancement projects while balancing competing priorities across fundraising, marketing, and operations.· Strong problem-solving, organization, documentation, and communication skills.· Comfort learning and supporting multiple cloud-based applications.· Ability to work independently while recognizing when to involve leadership, business owners, vendors, or technical specialists.· Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification at the time of hire. Equivalent hands-on Salesforce administration experience will be considered.· Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).· Experience with HubSpot, DonorDrive, FormAssembly, Apsona, Omatic, or comparable fundraising, marketing, form, or data-management platforms.· Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising, marketing, peer-to-peer fundraising, online giving, gift processing, or constituent-engagement operations.· Experience with Salesforce sandbox environments, user acceptance testing, release planning, and change management.
- Experience coordinating work with software vendors, consultants, external IT providers, or other third-party service providers when additional scope or specialized expertise is needed.
