About the role

Senior Account Executive, K-8 School Programs Greater Cleveland, Ohio · Full time, in office five days a week
Summary: Our client is a family-founded company and a national leader in back-to-school programs for K-8 schools. They partner with thousands of schools across the country on two programs: custom school supply kits that make back-to-school easy for families, and school spiritwear backed by an award-winning design team and state-of-the-art print technology. We're still a family company, and we give back like one. The founding family's charity funds critical brain cancer research at leading medical centers, and every Thanksgiving it brings our community together for a cause close to our hearts. The Culture: The client believe's in working hard enough today to earn your spot tomorrow. The office has a stocked cafeteria and perks that make coming to work something special. But what's more special than the perks is working shoulder to shoulder with people who care about each other, the customers, and doing the job right. If you're yearning for an old-school job that rewards hard work, where loyalty rules and results are king, and where corporate politics take a back seat to getting the job done with the tools you need, this will be your home. If you're looking for your shot, this is your shot.
The role: You'll be one of a small group of Senior Account Executives who drive the growth of the company. You'll win new schools for both of programs and own relationships with the most important school partners. This is a hunting role first, backed by an Account Manager and a support team who handle implementation and day-to-day service so you can focus on selling.
What you'll do: Win new K-8 schools, selling the school supply and spiritwear programs together as one partnership Own a book of the top school partners: renew them, grow them, and make sure they feel like the most important customers, because they are Sign schools up for the back-to-school spiritwear campaign as committed partners Run a high-volume sales season: discovery calls, proposals, and closing, often 8 to 10 proposals a week in peak months Work in tandem with Account Managers who own the ongoing relationships with the schools you win Work from Salesforce every day and keep every opportunity current with a clear next step and date Show up for the moments that matter, from a key renewal to a school's delivery day
Who you are: Competitive, and you like being measured. Former college athletes do well here, and so do people from car sales or any other quota-carrying role where effort shows up on a scoreboard 2 or more years of sales experience with a track record of hitting targets Great on the phone, comfortable asking for the commitment, and genuinely caring about the people you sell to Coachable, organized, and disciplined about follow-up Someone who wants to be in the office with the team every day
Bonus: experience selling to schools, PTOs, or volunteer organizations Compensation$90,000 to $100,000 base salary with total target earnings of $140,000 to $160,000 with bonus, and full premium benefits.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
