Warehouse Associate

Typical duties include: At Bill Hansen Catering, our Warehouse Associates are responsible for pulling, packing, and loading of event equipment, along with food and beverage items, and in assisting the set up/breakdown of catering events if needed. All Warehouse Associates are expected to assist in maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of the Warehouse and all catering equipment alongside the Warehouse Management Team. Warehouse Associate/Driver Assistants are responsible for the following:

Duties and Responsibilities: Warehouse Associate: Collect and pack all necessary catering equipment according to the event’s equipment pullsheet. Load and unload catering equipment, food/beverage items at the commissary and at events if needed. Properly pack and secure all items for transport. Stage items in the corresponding locations within the Warehouse and at events if needed. Offload any dirties/trash, food and necessary equipment needed for washing/storage. Maintain the company’s commissary warehouse and surrounding work areas in a neat and orderly fashion. Maintain the company’s equipment, supplies, and inventories in a manner sufficient for successfully executing all catered events. Any spending to replenish, repair and/or maintain these items are to be reported to the Warehouse Management Team and DOO.All approved Warehouse Associates covered under the company’s Drivers Insurance partake in the retrieval and sometimes purchases of all necessary warehouse or event related rentals/supply orders from local vendors (i.e., Total Wine, Pantry Liquors, Local Grocery Stores, Diamonette etc.)Driver Helper: Assist Event Drivers with offloading/reloading equipment and food/beverage upon arrival and at the conclusion of events. Assist with the set up/breakdown of catering events and “Back of House” operations including kitchen spaces and equipment breakdown stations. Set up breakdown station(s) for glassware, silverware, and plates. ASSIST with the clearing and storage of used plates, glassware, and utensils along with Event StaffFood and Beverage Delivery Assist with delivering food/beverages for drop offs at private homes and offices and for event tastings typically hosted at our Villa Woodbine location.
