What Youll DoProvide personalized massage therapy using techniques appropriate to your training and clients needs, such as Swedish, deep tissue, or prenatal massage. Offer culturally responsive, trauma-informed bodywork that prioritizes consent, comfort, and client choice. Integrate complementary modalities, when appropriate, based on your qualifications and client preferences. Collaborate with clients on wellness goals and offer practical guidance for self-care between sessions. Maintain timely documentation and a clean, calm, welcoming treatment space. Allow time before and after appointments for preparation, sanitation, and client follow-up. Collaborate with our wellness team and participate in occasional outreach and community events. What Youll BringAn active Connecticut massage therapy license in good standing. At least two years of massage therapy experience. Current professional liability insurance. Training or experience in complementary wellness modalities preferred. A compassionate, culturally sensitive approach to working with diverse clients. Strong communication, organization, and client relationship skills. The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team. Evening and/or weekend availability preferred.
