TIG Welder Our customer in Rockton, Illinois is known around the world for designing, manufacturing, and servicing commercial equipment. They are seeking motivated individuals to join their team as a TIG Welder. Responsibilities of the TIG Welder: Set up and operate TIG, stick, heliarc, and wire-feed welding equipment. Read blueprints and production orders to determine welding requirements. Secure parts in fixtures and perform precision welding on various components. Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty metals to specifications. Inspect, test, and repair welds to ensure quality standards are met. Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding. Perform pressure testing and make necessary weld corrections. Move completed parts to designated areas and maintain production records. Follow all safety and quality procedures.
TIG Welder Requirements and Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.2 years related work experience.6 months commercial, vocational, or other specialized training beyond H.S.Ability to read precision measuring equipment. Good written and verbal communication skills. Pay for TIG Welder: Starting at $23.30/hour.
TIG Welder Benefits: Paid weekly. Direct deposit. Health insurance. Paid training.
Type: 1st Shift, Full-time.
Schedule: Monday Friday from 6:00 am- 3:30 pm.
