About the role
Job Description:
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Warehouse Associate for a well-established distribution company located in North Austin. In this role, you’ll support daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, order picking, and shipping. This is a great opportunity for someone reliable, organized, and ready to work in a hands-on environment.
As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll be responsible for:
- Receiving, unloading, and stocking materials accurately and safely
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment
- Using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment (forklift if certified)
- Assisting with cycle counts and inventory accuracy
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Supporting other departments as needed for smooth operations
What you’ll need:
- 1-2 years of warehouse, general labor, or material handling experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Team player attitude with a willingness to learn
