About the role
Administrative Support Specialist The Administrative Support Specialist will report to the Manager, Bus Maintenance, and provide administrative support for the North Base bus maintenance department. Essential Functions and Duties: Provide clerical support including filing, data entry, scheduling meetings, and potentially assisting with meeting logistics. Process invoices for payment in PeopleSoft Finance. Track spend by vendor. Respond to AP questions and resolve issues for internal and external customers. Assist in validating and doing data entry in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) database. Assist in coordination of office and/or departmental operations. Assist in maintaining department digital files and physical records. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Sufficient education, training, and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years' experience working in a clerical or administrative support position
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience with an enterprise EAM or HCM system
