Tool Room Technician AQPS Employment Group is hiring a Tool Room Technician for a company in Germantown, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity in Germantown, WI.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Set up and removal of molds in production equipment in order to perform necessary maintenance and PM activitiesProgram and operate all tool room equipmentMake alterations to existing molds, fixtures, and tooling in support of design changesMaintain a safe working environment in the tool room for others conducting work in the tool roomGroup leader responsibilities as assignedMold and die disassembly and reassembly to support changeovers or repairsCoordinate and track Mold tool repairs through CMMS (eMaint) Participate in RCFA on damaged tools from productionContinuous improvement: train and mentor, surface problems, utilize PDCA to solve problems and drive improvements, 5SRequirements: Journeyman Tool and Die maker; or 7+ years of experience in a tool and die or mold shopKnowledge and use of CNC controls 2-4 years of experience in machining operations/building fixturesBasic computer skillsExperience/exposure to injection molds is a plusQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
