About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to support master data quality efforts within a manufacturing environment. This long-term contract position focuses on improving the reliability, consistency, and completeness of enterprise master data by investigating exceptions, correcting records, and applying established governance standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with data stewards, business stakeholders, and operations teams to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining strong documentation and audit readiness.
Responsibilities: Investigate records flagged after matching and merging activities, determine the source of discrepancies, and complete corrective actions based on approved business guidelines. Carry out data quality improvement work across assigned domains by standardizing values, removing duplicates, correcting formats, and confirming attribute accuracy. Review resolved record outcomes to confirm that survivorship decisions and entity results align with stewardship expectations and data policies. Analyze recurring data issues to identify patterns, document root causes, and support preventive improvements to data quality processes. Execute authorized mass updates and record corrections while following established controls, validation steps, and change procedures. Track exception queues, dashboards, and quality reports to help prioritize remediation efforts and maintain visibility into ongoing issues. Partner with data governance teams, stewards, business contacts, and operations staff to resolve issues that require functional input or clarification. Maintain complete documentation of remediation actions, decisions, and supporting evidence to satisfy governance, compliance, and audit requirements.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
