Urban Designer (1-5 years)$75,000-$85,000  Firm Description Tryba Architects is a Denver-based multidisciplinary design firm with a national reputation for excellence in the integration of planning, architecture, preservation, interior design, branding and environmental graphics. For more than 35 years, we have earned a reputation for shaping and reshaping urban structures and systems into special places through our principle-driven approach. Our practice is driven by a commitment to collaborate with our clients in crafting detailed buildings and spaces connected to function, people, nature, and the urban environment.
Core Responsibilities: Strong design sense and technical proficiency. Previous experience working on urban development projects, including advancing design and collateral for project visioning; site planning and programming; urban design guidelines; interface with city agencies and general understanding of planning/entitlement processes. Excellent communication skills – collaborating directly with principles of the firm during all phases of design and drawing production. Motivated to develop personal and professional relationships with the firm’s principals and staff allowing for open interaction, honest dialogue, and productive feedback. Portfolios must be submitted for all design positions. Applications without work samples will not be reviewed. Portfolios should be one PDF attachment, 10–20 pages, maximum 5 MB. Multi-tasking/time management skills: the ability to work on several projects at the same time in a production role. Strong design, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite
