Front Desk Receptionist Engineering Office - 25-00705Oxford Solutions has a new opportunity for a Front Desk Receptionist with an engineering client for an onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity. This role serves as the first point of contact for employees, clients, prospects, and visitors and plays a key part in supporting daily office operations within a technical, consulting-focused environment.The ideal candidate is polished, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-office setting. Prior experience supporting an engineering or technical team is strongly preferred.ResponsibilitiesGreet clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and welcoming mannerAnswer, screen, and route incoming phone calls in a multi-office environmentManage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveriesMaintain a clean, organized, and professional reception areaProvide backup administrative support to office staff as neededPerform basic data entry, filing, and document preparation tasksQualifications5+ years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role within a technical, engineering, or similar professional environmentExperience navigating a computer network and office systemsStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and TeamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectivelyFamiliarity with engineering consulting firm operations is a plus
