Are you looking for a front desk position that's a great mix of independent projects and teamwork? This position is a support role under the supervision of both the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and United Way. Superb customer service is the most highly valued quality we're seeking in this new hire. SPECIFIC DUTIES PERFORMED ARE: Serve as the receptionist and “Information Specialist” for the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and United Way at the front desk, welcome visitors and guests, answer the phones, take RSVPs, and provide information on services, events and programs. Maintain and manage Lakewood Ranch Office including scheduling, set-up, and clean-up of the meeting rooms, ensuring the lobby is properly stocked and organized, preparing television graphics for the display screen, assisting with maintenance of office equipment, etc. Provide administrative/clerical support, including sorting and distributing incoming mail / packages, preparing payment requests, and manging logistics such as materials and minutes for meetings. Take lead on managing the Welcome Manatee new resident relocation and tourist program. Prepare and mail relocation packets as requested. Manage current member subscriptions. Market the program to potential new member participants. Manage the JobFocus website. Review, edit and approves new postings. Assist companies with extending job postings as needed. Actively promote JobFocus to businesses and individuals who have employment assistance needs. Responsible for special projects and other duties as assigned. It is anticipated that beyond required “reception desk hands-on” duties, this position will also assist the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and United Way with an equitable division of time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
