About the role
Grain Transport DriverSafely and efficiently transport grain between farms, customer locations, and CFE facilities while delivering dependable service and protecting product quality.
Essential Duties:
Safely load, transport, and unload grain. Verify delivery tickets and maintain accurate trip records. Protect grain quality and customer property throughout each delivery. Assist with grain handling and routine equipment upkeep. Complete required daily vehicle and safety inspections. Comply with traffic laws, DOT regulations, company policies, and applicable safety requirements. Promptly report safety hazards, equipment problems, delivery discrepancies, and customer concerns. Keep the assigned vehicle clean and ensure scheduled maintenance is completed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Class A CDL or the ability to complete required Entry-Level Driver Training. Basic computer skills with strong attention to detail and record accuracy. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work extended seasonal hours, remain seated for extended periods, and work at heights.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to perform the essential duties of the position, including walking, standing, sitting, reaching, climbing, bending, kneeling, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to qualified individuals with disabilities.
